Meet the Sexy Older Sister to Daisy - MARC JACOBS' New "Lola" Perfume

After his super successful "Daisy" fragrance, Marc Jacobs introduces his new, ultra flirty scent "Lola."

Lola will officially launch this coming Fall (Bloomingdales has a one-month exclusive in August), but we got a sneak peak of the Juergen Teller-shot ad campaign, which features one of our favorite girls-American teenager Karlie Kloss.

Jacobs' told WWD, "where Daisy is more innocent and sweet, Lola is more sensual - the name conjures up a flirtatious, warm spirit," he said. "It was the first thing that came to my mind. It just felt natural in contrast to Daisy."

Jacobs described the pink peppercorn, pear, vanilla, and grapefruit-infused Lola as Daisy's "vampy older sister" and insisted that "fragrance is just as important as accessories, bags, and shoes are. Not only does it help set a mood, it's a luxury you can have no matter what your size or height or wallet. I'm happy to keep offering more choices. Buy It: Alexander McQueen Skull Ring

I recently started subscribing to the Alexander McQueen website's mailing list, and every time I open an email, I wonder what kind of extravagantly beautiful yet totally unaffordable gem it will contain. So when I got an email about his skull cocktail ring, I clicked through out of morbid curiosity (pun intended). I was expecting something north of $1,000, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the actual price: $330--definitely not cheap, of course, but a veritable bargain by McQueen's standards. As for the ring, it's definitely a statement-maker: oversized, with pearl eyes and Swarovski crystals at the mouth and the bee's wings. I'm also glad skulls aren't so trendy anymore (remember when they were plastered on everything from socks to bermuda shorts?)--thus the ring just looks badass, not fashion victim-y. This is definitely the type of accessory that could become a signature piece. Maybe it can become mine.
